Commutator Copper
Luvata's commutator strips, profiles, bars and wires offer higher softening temperature and improved properties
The alloy used in commutators is typically silver bearing OF-Copper. By alloying copper with silver the softening and other properties of the material are improved substantially.
Luvata offers various silver bearing copper grades that are based on OF-OK® oxygen-free copper. OF-OK material consistency is crucial for the manufacturer who wants to improve the effiency of their processes.
Long experience in tooling design and copper product development has resulted in our profile products being accurately matched to cuostomer's specifications and processes.
Tooling design is based on comprehensive process understanding and process control.
Excellent consistency, machineability and cleanliness of out strips enable good stamping behaviours. Strict tolerances and reliable process control guarantee satisfied results in our customers' manufacturing processes.
