(20 January 2020) The Business Excellence Department of Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery AB in Finspång, Sweden, invited Alejandro Tassara, Luvata Lean Director for Europe, to share the success of Luvata's Lean Journey during its Network Seminar held in November. The presentation "Luvata's Operational Excellence Journey: A Systematic Approach to Improve Business by Connecting Functions and Processes" was shared with over twenty participants from various departments.
Luvata committed to the pursuit of Lean certification in 2006, establishing strict benchmarks and measuring systems across its businesses. The presentation highlighted the key aspects of the Luvata Production System (LPS) including:
- Plant Guide
- Audit System
- Value Stream Mapping
- Waves and Transformations
- Performance Management
The presentation focused on the ways Luvata has connected departments and people, critical to the overall success of LPS.
