Luvata brings extensive product portfolio to Middle East Electricity exhibition

(20 March 2019) Luvata Malaysia participated in the Middle East Electricity (MEE) 2019 exhibition and conference held March 5-7 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. MEE is one of the world's largest conferences for the power industry bringing together over 1500 exhibitors and 20,000 visitors largely from the Gulf Countries, Africa and Indian subcontinent. In its 44th year, this year's show focused on power generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity, including the renewable energy sector and the lighting industry.

"These industries use many of the products manufactured by Luvata," says Michael Nordgren, Managing Director of Luvata Malaysia Sdn Bhd, " including copper bars, busbars, anodes, photovoltaic ribbon, wire and connectors to name a few. We have been a major supplier in UAE and the rest of the Middle East for many years. In some years, this has represented roughly 30% of Luvata Malaysia's copper bar sales," suggests Nordgren.

With nearly 100 years of combined industry experience, Sia Heng Huat, Kelvin Ong, CJ Goh and Michael Nordgren represented Luvata at the show, greeting the steady stream of old, and new, friends alike in the Luvata booth.

"This show brings together the leading manufacturers, industry experts, project managers, contractors and procurement representatives of the global power industry," summarizes Nordgren. "This audience is ideally suited for the products we make."
